Welcome, Chasers,

The forum wants to provide a friendly space, where you'll be able to discuss ideas, give advices, share strategies and talk about any topics with the other players. The forum becomes a wonderful place when members treat each other with respect and courtesy. Therefore, we ask everyone to lead the forum in a civilized and friendly way.

The guidelines and rules below express the members' expected behavior as well as staff members'. Notice that the following guidelines are not exhausted, and may not handle every kind of offensive behavior. Moderators will be watching to detect and solve any inappropriate behaviors. Your access to this forum is a "privilege", not a "right", so fight to not lose it.

Staff members have to suspend the access to this forum, at any moment, for the reasons below (not exactly limited to them), for every player who fails to comply with these guidelines. Also, Staff members have the right of evaluate each case separately. The action taken might be more lenient or more stricter than those listed in each category.

If you follow these guidelines, when you post a new content on forum, you'll be helping us to make the forum a better place. Thus, we will not need to show them the golden ban hammer. Sounds fair, right?

The rules below may be changed with no advanced notice.

 

1.    General Conduct

1.1. Posting cheats, hacks, virus or any other malicious programs
This category includes:
·         Posting links of cheats, hacks or any other malicious programs;
     o    If you want to submit information about cheats or hacks for Staff, create a post in Reports. Do not post them in other sections.
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently banned from the forum.

1.2. Impersonating a Staff member
This category includes:
·         Identifying as a Staff member to spread false information;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently banned from the forum.

1.3. Posting unreleased content
This category includes both clear and masked language and links to websites containing language or images that:
·         Show unreleased game items, equipment or areas that have been unlocked through the invasion of customer data files;
·         Show the results of hackers or any modification of game files;
·         Show any data not available through the normal game;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently or temporarily banned from the forum, depending on the case severity. Warning points will also be given, depending on the moderator's assessment.

1.4.  Inappropriate language
This category includes both clear and masked language and links to websites containing language or images that:
·         By any means can be censored;
·         Overlook the mature filter language;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently or temporarily banned from the forum, depending on the case severity. Warning points will also be given, depending on the moderator's assessment.

1.5.  Spam & troll
This category includes:
·         Excessive communication through the same phrase, similar phrases or phrases that express the same idea;
·         Creating posts with the purpose of causing disturbances on the forum;
·         Causing disturbances on forums through fights, strife's and insults;
·         Creating of non-constructive posts;
·         Abusing report tool, generating false notifications to Staff members;
·         Submission of multiple comments followed in a thread;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently or temporarily banned from the forum, depending on the case severity. Warning points will also be given, depending on the moderator's assessment.

1.6.  Duplicating threads
This category includes:
·         Creating threads about existing topics;
·         Creating a separated thread about an existing thread for a deeper discussion in more than one section;
·         Creation of more than one thread to report the same issue;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will receive 3 warning points for every surplus thread. The points expire after 3 months.

1.7. External links
This category includes:
·         Linking a thread to external forums;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently or temporarily banned from the forum, depending on the case severity. Warning points will also be given, depending on the moderator's assessment.

1.8.  Trade & advertisements
This category includes advertisements about:
·         Exchanges/sales and benefits in game;
·         Links to shopping sites;
·         Disclosing personal data for the purpose of buying or selling accounts or benefits in game.
·         Any content not associated with the Grand Chase History;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently banned from the forum.

1.9. Discussing disciplinary actions
This category includes:
·         Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a member/player outside Appeals;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently or temporarily banned from the forum, depending on the case severity. Warning points will also be given, depending on the moderator's assessment.

1.10.      Avoiding suspension/ban
This category includes:
·         Creating alternative forum accounts as your main account is suspended/banned;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently banned from the forum.

1.11.      Advertising
This category includes:
·         Direct or indirect advertising of other Grand Chase private servers;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently banned from the forum.

1.12.      Visual language abuse
This category includes:
·         Using of images and psychedelic gifs that can cause discomfort to people with epilepsy;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will receive 3 warning points for every surplus thread. The points expire after 3 months.

1.13.      Reputation farm
This category includes:
·         Likes (reputation) exchange deals, creating fake accounts to generate reputation for a particular account, or any irregular activity involving the forum reputation system.
If a player is found with participation in this action, he or she will have a negative reputation, banned fake accounts and, if repeated, the account will be permanently banned.

 

2.    Offenses & equivalent

2.1. Ethnic/racial/national offenses
This category includes both clear and masked language and links to websites containing language or images that:
·         Promote the ethnic/racial/national hate;
·         Are recognized as a racial/ethnic/national insult;
·         Make reference to a racial/ethnic/national hate symbol;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently banned from the forum.

2.2.  Sexual orientations offenses
This category includes both clear and masked language and links to websites containing language or images that:
·         Insultingly refer to any aspect of sexual orientation.
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently banned from the forum.

2.3. Laic State disrespect
This category includes both clear and masked language and links to websites containing language or images that:
• Insultingly refer to any aspect of religion or faith;
If a player is found with participation in this action, he or she will receive 3 warning points that will never expire and will be blocked from the forum for 7 days, if repeated, he or she will receive 5 warning points that will never expire and will be blocked from the forum for 1 month.

2.3. Sexual, extreme violence, obscene or vulgar content
This category includes both clear and masked language and links to websites containing language or images that:
·         Refer to extreme or violent sexual acts;
·         Refer to real actions of extreme violence;
·         Are from pornographic nature;
·         Are an inappropriate reference to human anatomy or to bodily functions;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently banned from the forum.

2.4. Distribution of personal information
This category includes:
·         Releasing any real information about other players and Staff members without permission;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently banned from the forum.

2.5. Equivalent
This category includes:
·         Direct or indirect disclosure of items protect by intellectual property laws;
·         Defamatory, hateful, illegal and discriminatory content;
·         Crime, drugs, terrorism and religious extremism incitement;
·         Real life threats;
If a player is found with participation in those actions, he or she will be permanently or temporarily banned from the forum, depending on the case severity. Warning points will also be given, depending on the moderator's assessment.

 

IMPORTANT

·         The persistent breach of any area of the Game's Terms of Use and Forum's Code of Conduct, including the areas detailed above, will often result in a permanent ban from the forum.

·             This policy is not language-restrictive. Regardless of language, you have to follow it.

·         Any user with 25 warning points or more will have their account banned permanently. Temporary points are considered in sum.

·             The warning points applied before the release of this thread will remain.
