In addition to this guideline, you have to always respect other players' right of enjoying the game. The code of conduct may be changed at anytime. Players can get notified about alterations through the forum and the official site. History Games can cancel your account whenever you disrespect any of these rules and has the right of collecting information about injected cheats in the game, as localization, size and use date. CONDUCT WITH STAFF MEMBERS AND OTHER PLAYERS PESTERING A PLAYER You shall not defraud, harass, stalk, threaten, cause distress and/or draw unwanted attention to other players including, but not limited to offend or defame another player or group of players. You shall not post, set, spread or transmit any real personal information about other players (name, address, phone, photo, account name, etc.), nor any other data that can hurt the privacy of other players. You shall not adopt a rude behavior towards other players including, but not limited to annoy, harass or use of improper or aggressive language when interacting with others in the game. OFFENSES / OBSCENE LANGUAGE / DISCRIMINATION You shall not use verbal violence in order to threaten, insult or ridicule other players. You shall not use offensive language in your interactions with other players, including, but not limited to, defamatory terms, obscene terms, sexually explicit terms, hateful terms, illegal or that may harm the experience of other users in any way. You shall not promote any distinction, exclusion or restriction or use language or terms that have the purpose to humiliate, insult, harm, or spread hate against other players or groups of players, including, but not limited to, discrimination based in ethnic, political, religious, economic, social or cultural, among others. DISRESPECT TO STAFF If you are contacted by one of the Game Masters (GMs) while in the game environment, you must follow all the instructions. GMs can be identified by the tag [GM] before his or her name and the GM item equipped in their characters. You shall not insult, abuse, humiliate, make ironic, sarcastic or facetious comments or debate with GMs, GEs or other employees of History Games! during the performance of their duties. You shall not hinder or impede the work of the GM team, GEs or other employees of History Games! BAD CONDUCT You shall not participate in practices in the game that compromise the performance of other players or harm your own gameplay in any way. You shall not send the same message repeatedly or similar messages (flooding) on any chat channel of the game. BAD CONDUCT - GUILDS Guilds are prohibited from being benefited by its members in an irregular manner directly or indirectly, even without the knowledge or consent of the other members. Benefit is known as any irregular action that gives any advantage, profit or experience to the guild. About the Guild responsibilities: Guild is known as “an association which aims to provide assistance and protection to its members" - thus, any irregular act of a Guild member who benefits as a whole within the game will be punished with guild’s extinction. INAPPROPRIATE NAME / IMAGE FOR GUILDS You shall not join or organize any kind of group in Grand Chase that is based on a philosophy that is racist, sexist, anti-religious, anti-ethnic, homophobic or spread some sort of revolting or abhorrent behavior or promotes any kind discrimination (see Rule 1.2.c). Your Guild shall not bear name or emblem that use trademarks, which is related or spreads some sort of revolting or abhorrent behavior or promote any kind of discrimination (see Rule 1.2.c), condoning the use of drugs or any type obscene behavior. INAPPROPRIATE NAME FOR CHARACTERS You shall not name your characters with obscene, offensive, that make apology to drug use or contain sexual references words. You cannot use your name in special characters, spaces or symbols in order to hinder the identification of the character. You shall not create or use any ID in the game that can be confused with IDs created or used by the History Games! to perform operations in the game, as support, testing or verification service. It includes but is not limited to: identification beginning with History Games!, GC, Grand Chase, [CM], CM, [GM] GM [GE], GE, [MOD], Game Master, Tester, Coordinator, Support, etc. INAPPROPRIATE NAME FOR PETS You shall not name your pets with obscene, offensive, that make apology to drug use or contain sexual references words. INAPPROPRIATE NAME FOR ROOMS It is not allowed to use room names to disclose or make advertising of sites, forums or groups that deal with or using client modifications, hacks or other third-party programs. It is not allowed to use rooms names that use trademarks, which is related or to spread some sort of revolting or abhorrent behavior or promote any kind of discrimination (see Rule 1.2.c), condoning the use of drugs or any kind of obscene behavior. REPRESENTATION You shall not, under any circumstances, impersonate a History Games! employee before the members of the Grand Chase History. You shall not say you are a friend or relative of a History Games! employee to provoke other users or benefit yourself from such status. IRREGULARITIES IRREGULAR ACTIVITIES You shall not modify any part of the Grand Chase Client or its server to change the operating items, characters, missions or the game in general. You shall not use or benefit any character or game account through the use of irregular programs (e.g.: Trainers, Hacks, Phase Editors, Macros, etc.). The player who makes use of illegal programs on the PvP server will be subject to having their account and HWID of your computer permanently banned. You shall not use or benefit any character or game account through the use of operating failures or anomalies in the game (bugs). You shall not associate with other users who uses illegal programs to take advantage indirectly. In case of substantiated complaints or flagrant by the game's monitoring team, the punishment will be applied to all players involved without distinction. You shall not use irregular practices for the evolution of characters (FK), either manual or performed by Macros. You shall not use or take advantage, directly or indirectly, of any failure to misuse the system in Grand Chase. You shall not disclose the existence of a procedure for misuse of the system for anyone else. We encourage you to immediately report all errors and procedures of this type to Game Masters in the game or in the forum so we can arrange your fix with the Administration. If the player punished for irregular activity is leader of a guild, the guild will be undone without any compensation to the other members. You shall not obtain items or amounts in GP erratically. In the case of infringement detection in a reserve/false account, the original and related accounts will be punished too. IF YOU PLAY WITH ANOTHER PLAYER WHO'S USING ILLEGAL PROGRAMS AND OBTAIN BENEFITS FROM IT, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE PUNISHED AS WELL. In case you want to report a player, record a short piece of video or take ScreenShots but LEAVE the game room. YOU WILL BE RESPONSABLE if you opt staying in the same room as the offender.[Rule in force from March 9th 2018 on] IRREGULAR ANNOUNCEMENTS You shall not do marketing, sales promotion, advertisements or solicitations for commercial purpose in game. You shall not advertise the sale of characters, game accounts, amounts in GP or game items by CASH or real money. You shall not advertise the sale of characters, game accounts or amounts of CASH for GP or game items. You shall not advertise assistance in game for payment on items or amounts in GP, CASH or real money. You shall not make ads that induce the practice of irregular activity in the game (FK) in exchange for favors, for payment in game items or amounts in GP, CASH or real money. You shall not advertise the sale of items, characters, game accounts or amounts in GP or CASH for products in other games. You shall not advertise the intent to buy, sell, share or transfer access to any Grand Chase account. You shall not advertise or market any software, service or illegal activity. You shall not create, use, provide or disclose emulators of Grand Chase server. You also shall not disclose other places where Grand Chase can be played. There shall be no discussion or disclosure of links, sites, forums or groups that deal with or use of customer modifications, hacks, trainers, publishers or other third-party programs as well as illicit programs in general. Debates about the aforementioned items and their defense are expressly prohibited. There shall be no discussion or disclosure of links or advertisements that direct players to content (websites, forums or groups, or any other type of media) that are not related to the Grand Chase. The disregard of this rule may result in suspension or even cancellation of the player's account in accordance with the evaluation of the GM team. GENERAL RULES GENERAL CONDUCT You shall not share your account information with others. You shall not use the game as a way to violate any local, state, national, or international regulations. You, as a game account owner, are fully responsible for it and should answer for all actions taken by it. Any players benefiting from another player using illegal third-party programs, the punishment will be the same as the offender from now on, even though this condition has already been applied.
